The client can improve significantly on his/her medication adherence by using the Medication Adherence Support System (MASS). In order to be included in the MASS system the client needs to contact his/her local pharmacist.
The client can also be supported by a care giver (e.g., family member, etc.) when he/she persists in being non-adherent. The care giver can be given access to the patient file in CareByWeb by the pharmacist and from his role monitor the client medication adherence. The care giver is only given access to monitor the medication adherence. This access can also be provided to the client on request of the client.
